Q: I’m just beginning to learn about how to write and market articles. I’m worried that if I submit my articles now and then learn more I won’t be able to change anything. Can I edit an article after it is submitted to the directories?

A recent discussion on the blog at EzineArticles concerned whether you could write an article of quality in under 500 words.

One of the ideas being tossed around was that it takes more 500 words to deliver a great quality article.

There are a couple of points with which I agree, though overall I disagree.

Can I Submit The Same Articles To Multiple Directories? Part Ii

So in reality, if that stat is accurate (and sometimes it may be more links, sometimes it may be fewer links), then the search engines are NOT calling the duplicate content penalty on 49 of the other sites - although they have flagged 100 versions of your article.

Why?

The very act of placing your article on a web page, along with other articles, other content, and other advertising, especially if the advertising breaks up the article, can work to prevent the search engines from recognizing that the article is not original, but is a duplicate of itself.
